Sheldon’s Potato Cake Mini Pizza
The Perfect pizza, disguised as a potato cake.
Ingredients
Pick any from this list, or just use whatever takes your fancy to make some fun teatime faces or animal designs.
- Onion, chopped or sliced
- Tomato purée paste
- Mozzarella, sliced or grated
- Olives
- Pepperoni, sliced
- Red pepper, chopped or sliced
- Bacon, sliced
- Mushrooms, sliced
Potato Cakes

Instructions
Take a pack of Sheldon’s Potato Cakes. If you fancy it, slice a clove of garlic and rub it over the surface of the potato cakes. Spread over a generous layer of tomato purée paste, sprinkle with grated mozzarella and then make a funny face by using two olives to make the eyes, a slice of pepperoni for the nose and a thin segment of red pepper for the mouth, then pop them in the oven for six minutes.

A sophisticated treat to enjoy with a glass of white wine on a summer evening.
Take a couple of toasted Sheldon’s Potato Cakes. Spoon on a thick layer of ricotta or dill sauce. Top with a thick fold or two of smoked salmon and sprinkle with chopped dill to finish. We warn you – one pack won’t be enough!
