Pick any from this list, or just use whatever takes your fancy to make some fun teatime faces or animal designs.

  • A pack or two of Sheldon’s Potato Cakes
  • A finely sliced onion
  • Tomato purée paste
  • Mozzarella, sliced or grated
  • Olives
  • Sliced pepperoni
  • Sliced red pepper
  • Chopped bacon
  • Sliced mushrooms

Method

  • Take a pack of Sheldon’s Potato Cakes. If you fancy it, slice a clove of garlic and rub it over the surface of the potato cakes.
  • Spread over a generous layer of tomato purée paste, sprinkle with grated mozzarella and then make a funny face by using two olives to make the eyes, a slice of pepperoni for the nose and a thin segment of red pepper for the mouth, then pop them in the oven for six minutes.
