Sheldon’s have been supporting our local Trafford Veterans group with regular donations of our lovely products.
Sheldon’s are super proud to be supporting our local veterans with our products for their breakfast club. The club was formed in 2015 by two veterans from HM Armed Forces and Emergency Services. In 2016 the group held their first breakfast club in December at The John Alker in Flixton. Due to the popularity of the event, the club is continuously held on the 3rd Sunday of each month. The first club had over 40 guests – and to this day the popularity is continuously growing.
The Breakast Club is not for profit, much like the other events that the club organises such as the Verterans Drop In, Coffee & Foodshare mornings, and a Community Allotment. The group have also partnered up with Altrincham Football Club to offer Walking Football too!
Recently the 100-year-old memorial hall, The John Alker Memorial Hall, has recently fallen in need of serious repair. Forces.net are working alongside the Trafford Veterans to campaign to save the club.
