Sheldon’s Egg & Bacon Butty
The finest breakfast you can have without lifting a fork.
Ingredients

A fried egg

A couple of slices of bacon

A handful of salad leaves

Salt and pepper

A dollop of ketchup
OPTIONS
- A Lancashire Oven Bottom Muffin
- A poached egg
- A slice or two of black pudding
- A generous blob of Hollandaise sauce

Methos
Slice your Oven Bottom Muffin. Line it with two thick slices of smoky bacon. Add a fried egg cooked as you like it and finish with a healthy squirt of ketchup.
And if you’ve worked up a real Lancashire appetite, you could even add a slice or two of black pudding!
By the way, we’ve actually poshed ours up for the photo – so if you want to recreate this, just put a layer of leafy salad or wilted spinach under the bacon, top with a freshly-poached egg and finish with warm Hollandaise sauce.
