Established by Harold Sheldon in 1949, the company is now run by his son, Graham, as Managing Director with his wife Barbara as Company Secretary. Their son, Lee, is also a Director, ensuring a continuing legacy of family pride and commitment. We are renowned for high quality products at affordable prices and an unwavering commitment to customer service.

 

From modest beginnings in a two roomed bakehouse-cum-shop in a Manchester back street, we have developed in to a multi-million pound business, operating in a modern, purpose built bakery a stone's throw from the original shop. From here, we supply many of the country's major supermarket chains and leading independent outlets.

 

Although proud of our history and tradition, we are continually planning for the future. We have invested heavily in the most modern production facilities, spending around £2.5 million on the latest equipment.

 

Twenty-four hours a day, six days a week, our skilled team of bakers turn out products of the consistent high quality that customers have come to expect. We are proud to have a loyal and long serving workforce. Many of our bakers have followed in the footsteps of their fathers with the company. The Chief Engineer has been on staff for more than 16 years.
